At Point Karting, we understand that issues with shipments and purchasing can happen. With this understanding, we also outline our return and refund policies:

REFUND POLICY:

Before We Get into Boiler Plate: Our Perspective on Refunds

At times, our customers may request a refund for their items. Reasons usually range from perceived poor service, late shipment arrival, or to the order not being available within a time period deemed acceptable.

Point Karting puts our customers first - most of the time you will receive a refund if you ask for it! We do this because we realize we are human, and we make mistakes. As a result we will endeavor to make your purchase or order experience right when possible.

Often, through customer communication you may be eligible and/or receive a refund if:

  • Point Karting sent you the wrong items.
  • Point Karting did not fulfill the order (this is not the same as a back-ordered item)
  • Point Karting did not inform you of back ordered items upon receipt of your order placed on Point Karting. (Note- if you order is placed over the weekend, examination of this order likely will not take place until the following business day).

At the same time, however, consider that our business is run by human beings. We will not, cannot, and shall not tolerate customers taking advantage of Point Karting through deceit, falsification, or opportunism. Therefore, we ask customers seeking a refund to carefully consider the rationale behind their request. 

Refunds: Eligibility

Upon completion of your order on Point Karting, customers have ten (10) days to request a refund for their order.

Refunds will be transmitted via electronic refund associated with your order, usually through the payment vendor used (PayPal, Credit Card, etc). 

A Return and Refund Policy is the agreement where you inform customers about your policies regarding returns and refunds.

Point Karting does not offer refunds - at any time -  for digital, downloadable, or non-physical items or sales of any kind.

Point Karting does not offer refunds on engines, chassis, ready to race karts, sticker kits, number panels, or customized items.

Refunds - Out of Stock Items or Back Ordered Items

If an order is received and we do not have the ability to ship the item within a timely manner (within 1-2 business days of receipt of order), a customer may be eligible for:
  • A notice that the item is out of stock or back ordered
  • The option to request a refund for their item, or wait until it comes back in stock. 

Once either option is activated or chosen - a customer will not be eligible for a refund for an item ordered for them on back order, or for an item that is en-route or pending shipment, at any time, for any reason. 

Processing Time for a Refund - Funds Transfer

If you have been promised/issued a refund by Point Karting, please allow 4-5 business days for the transaction to process through payment providers, banks, etc. Upon the end of this period, if payment is not received, please contact us at: orders@pointkarting.com.

RETURN POLICY:

While never ideal (for the customer or Point Karting), we do accommodate returns on shipments. All item returns are subject to a 20.0% re-stocking fee when reason for return not made at the fault of Point Karting.

Items that are demonstrated to be opened, significantly used, or altered from manufacture packaging and condition will not be accepted. All products with packaging included in initial sale must also be returned with packaging.

The purchaser (you) will be responsible for shipping costs for the return of your item. All accrued shipping costs at the time of returns are non-refundable.

To complete Your Return, Point Karting Requires the Following:
    • Please email us at orders@pointkarting.com indicating the item you wish to return, and identifying yourself so that we may examine the return in our order tracking system. 
    • Customers must demonstrate that they have actually received their order. That is to say, we (Point Karting) must see through shipment tracking or from submitted photos / evidence from a customer that demonstrates a receipt of items purchased. 
    • At times, orders may be drop-shipped from a vendor if we did not have it in stock at our headquarters. For these returns, please do not return the item(s) to the vendor. Our return address is our Canadian Warehouse in Ottawa, Canada: Point Karting | 216 Pingwi Place, Gloucester, ON, Canada, K4B 1K4. If you are located in the USA, use our American Warehouse in El Monte, California: Point Karting | 2533 Durfee Ave., El Monte CA, 91732

    Note: If a refund or return is issued and processed for an item in value over $75.00, Point Karting recommends using a trackable shipping service or even purchasing shipping insurance.

    Point Karting will not and cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, whether a tracking number, shipping insurance, or other preventative measures are taken - this is due to our inability to be the courier for your shipper - we are only the recipient of a return. 

    Return Acceptance Period

    Returns will be considered up to 30 days following placement of an order. If 30 days have passed since the date of shipment of your order (verifiable through 3rd party shipping courier), Point Karting will not accept refunds or exchanges for an item. Note that the 30-day period is defined from the date of initial shipment of your order, not the date of initial purchase (to accommodate back orders). 

    Items Never Accepted for Return

    Point Karting will not at any time accept for return the following items:

    • Perishable Items 
    • Print Media
    • Flammable Liquids or Items, such as oils, combustibles, or solvents.

    If you are unsure if the product you wish to return may be exempt from eligibility based upon the policies outlined herein, please contact us promptly. 

    Digital Products

    Point Karting will not, at any time, accept returns on 'virtual' or digital products, including gift cards, downloadable/ published media. 

    SALE ITEM POLICY:

    Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. All sale items will be denoted as on sale at the time of purchase. 

    EXCHANGE POLICY:

    Point Karting will only orchestrate an exchange for a purchased product if the product is found to be damaged or defective. For product feedback, please email us at: orders@pointkarting.com. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
