Helmet Overview
Bell continues to innovate with the KC7 CMR Carbon, the first ultra-lightweight carbon youth karting helmet. Based on the advanced HP7 and incorporating the same carbon composite technology, this sleek, aerodynamic design features an advanced ventilation system with 14 air intake and extraction channels designed to maximize cooling and a double screen anti-fog (DSAF) insert to prevent fogging in rainy conditions. Certified to the FIA/Snell CMR standard designed for karting drivers under the age of 12, the KC7 CMR Carbon is a winning choice for the next generation of champion drivers.
Helmet Ratings
The Bell KC7-CMR youth helmet is approved under Snell CMR2016. This is a specialized "sub-rating" of the standard Snell SA2025 specifically designed for youth drivers.
Sizing Your Bell Helmet
The Bell CK7-CMR is available in sizes: 54cm to 59cm.
Like many helmet brands, Bell determines the size of their helmets based upon a driver's 'hat size,' the circumference around the head just above the ears, and along the top of the brow.
The CK7-CMR is specifically intended for younger drivers, who have heads smaller than or equal to 59cm in 'hat size.' By utilizing a slightly smaller shell, this Bell helmet minimizes interference with head and neck protection devices, and places less strain on head and neck muscles during the heat of competition.
